Player of the month for July had several candidates with Max Bryant and Jimmy Ainscough leading the way with the bat and both scoring important runs in victorious games and solid all round displays with both bat and ball from Mackenzie Jones and Ian Elliott throughout the month.
A special mention should also go to Ross Walpole who currently leads the league in outfield catches.
The award this month though goes to the leading wicket taker for the month Matt Wild who all season has been outstanding with the ball both in opening spells and at the death. Having also been the leading wicket taker last month his consistency is helping Maldon to have more control of the game and means we are never without a chance.
