At 7.30pm on 14th July 2021 Maldon Cricket Club will be holding an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM).
Club members will be invited to vote on three options, to decide upon the future of open age cricket for some of our senior mens teams.
Club chairman, Steve Brown has written an open letter to all club members, to outline the purpose of the EGM.
The options for club members are as follows;
- We retain our current status in the Two Counties for our 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th teams with the 5th team remaining continuing to play friendlies on Saturday afternoons.
- Retain our current status in the Two Counties Division for our 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th teams with the 5th team joining the T-Rippon League.
- Retain our current status in the Two Counties Division for our 1st and 2nd teams, with the 3rd, 4th and 5th team entering the T-Rippon Division.
If any club member would like to discuss the above in advance of the EGM, please contact the club via email at admin@maldoncc.com.
We look forward to welcoming all club members to Drapers Farm on 14 July.
