League Update – Statto

As we have started the second half of the summer. I thought it was ideal time to see how we stand in the league tables.

The first team are currently seventh with an average of 13.1 with four wins and a tie from their ten completed games. The current leaders of Division 1 are Witham despite losing to Hadleigh on Saturday. The current top two in Division 1 are not due to meet until the last day of the season.

The second team are currently fifth with an average of 14.89 with six wins this year. They host second place East Bergholt on Saturday with a win meaning that they will overtake our opponents on the day. The top five in Division 5 are covered by an average of less than 2 points per game, which means that the title and promotion races could be competitive until September.

The third team currently sit in second position with an average of 17.63 points per game behind Woodbridge who average 19 points per game. Third place Ipswich have an average of 14 points per game.

The fourth team are currently top of the league with an average of 19.75. They sit .08 points above the other unbeaten side in Brightlingsea. Brightlingsea face third place Mistley on Saturday who have also only lost one game this year as well.
