After a short absence, the Maldon Cricket Club Fantasy League is back courtesy of club member, Stuart Coker.
The new competition is now LIVE you can now register your team for the 2021 season.
The 2021 fantasy league will run via an online database via a dedicated website.
The cost of entry is £10 per team and your payment is required in advance of registering your team via the online platform.
The league will cover all of our eight adult teams during the course of the summer.
The prize pot is as follows:
- 1st place = 30%
- 2nd place = 20%
- 3rd place = 10%
- Club funds = 40%
A key feature of the new competition is that the individual prices of players will fluctuate throughout the season, depending upon their own performances. There is also double points feature for your captain per week and a one bonus week where your team captain can obtain treble points.
Those wishing to enter a team in to the competition can do so by clicking here. There is also a link to the competition on the home page of http://www.maldoncc.com. The competition standings will be updated automatically on a weekly basis, after the scorecards have been added to the clubs Play-Cricket statistical database.
The competitive league will commence on Saturday 17 April, which is the first day of the 2021 season for the Mens First and Second XI. Therefore, those wishing to enter the contest are encouraged to submit their team by no later than Friday 16 April.
