Subject to Coronavirus restrictions, a provisional start date has been confirmed for the commencement of the Two Counties League’s for 2021.
The First XI, led by Badger will visit Braintree CC on the first day of the season, which is set to get underway on Saturday 17 April 2021. Liam Saxton’s second XI are set to commence 2021 competitive action at home as they welcome Earl Stonham CC’s 1st XI to Drapers Farm, also on Saturday 17 April 2021.
Competitive action for our 3rd and 4th teams does not get going until Saturday 1 May 2021 when Andrew Phipps and his 3rd XI welcome Colchester Cavaliers to the Prom. With vice-chairman, Joe Figg taking control of his first competitive game in charge of the 4th team away to St Margaret’s CC 2nd XI at the Ransomes Sports Pavillion.
The first Sunday action of the season is set to take place on Sunday 25 April 2021 when Jas Baines and his troops travel to the Old County Ground to take on a Brentwood CC XI.
