    At the AGM at the beginning of February, Paul Gregory was confirmed as the clubs, new fifth team captain. Having previously overseen the 4th XI, Paul will now play a pivotal part in the development of our colts, whilst maintaining competitive cricket for a number of our adult members.   • 5th Team Join Mid Essex
    We have today received confirmation that there has been a withdrawal within the T-Rippon Mid Essex League and the fifth team have now joined the competition in the bottom division. This follows the vote in 2021 to enter the fifth team, in to a competitive division for the 2022 season.

    On Wednesday 14 July, Maldon Cricket Club held an EGM to decide on the future of the clubs 5th XI.
